AGBRIGG CONNECTS: CULTURE CURES AND COACTIVE IN WAKEFIELD
CoActive are working with the Agbrigg and Belle Vue community to create opportunities for people to deeply connect through creative play in art forms such as dance, music, drama, art. We began in August by introducing whimsical characters to engage with all ages in play at the Agbrigg Gala. We developed this into also offering women’s creative meets, involving dance, food and cultural exchange and an An Ocean Adventure Half- Term creative arts camp for young people in the area.
AN OCEAN ADVENTURE
West Yorkshire charity CoActive Arts based in Wakefield, delivered a week long programme of free creative activities for young people in the Agbrigg area thanks to funding from Wakefield Council’s Culture Cures.
In February Half Term 30 young people joined CoActive artists to set out on An Ocean Adventure.
